Description
The Canadian Ski Museum strives to promote an understanding, appreciation and celebration of Canada's skiing/snowboarding traditions and accomplishments, and their significance to Canadian life and identity.

The collections focus on the evolution of skiing equipment, technique and achievements within the Canadian context. They reflect not only the development and transformation of Canada’s snow sports technologies, but also foster an understanding of this heritage within the broader context of its significance to Canadian history.

The Museum has an outstanding collection of skiing / snowboarding artifacts. While skis may be the most visible element of this collection, other ski / snowboard related items in the collection include: archival materials, books, boots, bindings, clothing, journals of ski areas and clubs, maps, magazines, photographs, poles, racing bibs, scrap-books, ski-club badges, trophies, uniforms, and waxes.
