Types of Ambassadors
For people that love to explore.
Scouts are always seeking new places to add to the database. Scouts sometimes focus on a particular niche, such as odd/quirky places or art museums, but Scouts can seek out any kind of place that fits into our community.
For people that love data.
Editors review inbound data, submitted by staff and community contributors. Editors evaluate whether or not a photo is valid and clean, and whether an address update is correct. Editors work together to help ensure we have the most valid and correct database in existence.
For people that have a vision.
Not to be confused with museum curators, Curators in the Ambassador Program help shape the tone and direction of the information collected and presented in our community, such as gathering Journal entries that fit into themes and lists of Exhibits that have particular kinds of focus.
For people that love to communicate.
Trumpeteers are the voice of the community. They help recruit others to create accounts, join the community, join the Ambassador program or even join the Places Club. Trumpeteers go to the top of the mountain and tell everyone about their passions.
